Hi Gale,

Your best bet for questions regarding the Key West Wine Fesitval is to contact the coordinators. We will be showcasing our wine but we don’t have anything to do with the way it’s put together. It’s our first time so I can’t even give you any historical tips fo years past.

If you attend the festival make sure to come and find us.

Why are there 5 strolls when you go to the Buy Tickets pages? There is a STROLL for Southard and for Southernmost. What are they? No description!

Forgive us the late reply. I do hope you made it out to join us celebrate Labor Day weekend.
We do our events for 3 days on Memorial Day, Labod Day, and Thanksgiving Day weekend.
Our music is usually from 1:30-5:30pm, and always live groups. The Thanksgiving Weekend is more so latin jazz, though this time we will bring in a Nat Cole type crooner on Friday. Our tapas do vary as you noted it can empanadas, croquetas, planains, and a fruit salad, or other times we do Cuban sandwiches, other times servings of black bean and rice with ropa vieja!
We do have a special event this 9/18 where a friend, and playwright put together a play in which he shares the difficult decision of his family leaving Cuba, and coming to the states by boat. It is called, “Look out the Sharks will eat you”, and for this event we are having a food cart from Portland provide the Cuban food servings.

At Cubanisimo we welcome families, and are children friendly. Only request is for the family to look out for the children’s safety since there are cars going in and out at our events, and there is a rock landscape that while looking beautiful can also injure.
We celebrate families, and though this answer may come late I hope you make plans to join us in the future.

Hi Micaela, Isa and Cuba Ache will be performing a variety of Latin music (cuban music, salsa, merengue, bachata, boleros, chachachas and more). Here's a YouTube clip for you to see.
