A Delightful Proposal

Our Cubanisimo Vineyards Tasting Room had the privilege of being the chosen location for Wade Cooley, now an official Amigo de Cubanisimo Wine Club Member, to pop the question to his special lady Kathy Klemm.   Wade let us in on his plans ahead of time, so we had time to stash a bottle of sparkling wine (Segura Viudas Brut Reserva is our Cava of choice) in the tasting room to help make it special.

It was a beautiful day for such a special question, and we were thrilled to be chosen and remembered as a part of their moment.

Here’s what the Groom to be had to say afterwards:

Thank you for all that you did for our special day. Kathy Klemm and I dated in 1993 when I  first got divorce with my three boys. I left Salem 13 years ago with my boys when I took a new job in Spokane as a Orthopedic sales rep and left Kathy behind. 2 years ago I heard she was single and knew that my bestfriend was now available to maybe be my wife which I wanted 13 years ago. Today is the start of the rest of our lives together. Thank you Maurice and Debra for making it special. We will be back. P.S, Briana is very special and a great host.
