This was shared with us by an employee, and we just had to share it.
“A Real Man
A real man is a woman’s best friend. He will never stand her up and never let her down. He will reassure her when she feels insecure and comfort her after a bad day.
He will inspire her to do things she never thought she could do; to live without fear and forget regret. He will enable her to express her deepest emotions and give in to her most intimate desires. He will make sure she always feels as though she’s the most beautiful woman in the room and will enable her to be the most confident, sexy, seductive, and invincible. . . . . . . . .
No wait… sorry… I’m thinking of wine. It’s wine that does all that…… Never mind.”

This 88 point score puts us at the high end of the “Very good” category of Wine Spectator’s 100-Point Scale.

The 2008 vintage in Oregon was a great year, and we’re proud to have the recognition. It takes a lot of hard work, and long hours in the vineyard to produce the quality fruit that meets our high standards, and it’s reviews like this, and the kind words from our customers that make it all worth while.
Cubanisimo recently made a profile at WeddingWire.com and we’d love for you to review it.
All feedback is welcome!!
Our Cubanisimo Vineyards Tasting Room had the privilege of being the chosen location for Wade Cooley, now an official Amigo de Cubanisimo Wine Club Member, to pop the question to his special lady Kathy Klemm. Wade let us in on his plans ahead of time, so we had time to stash a bottle of sparkling wine (Segura Viudas Brut Reserva is our Cava of choice) in the tasting room to help make it special.
It was a beautiful day for such a special question, and we were thrilled to be chosen and remembered as a part of their moment.

We were very enthused to talk with Mr. Garriegó, and even more enthused by the kind words he shared about us. This article was published on April 30th, 2010 in the Wine section of the Diario Las Americas, South Florida’s First Spanish Language Daily Newspaper. We hope that you enjoy this article as much as we have.
¡Salud!

We know you’ve been waiting all winter long, and at last we will be opening our doors again starting April 1st. Hope to see you soon!
Our 2007 Pinot Noir was awarded 2 Grape Clusters, a.k.a. Highly Recommended, in its review by NW Palate Magazine in the January/February issue of 2010.
Be sure to pick up a bottle for yourself and see if you can taste the flavors they describe below.

Oregon Wine Press newspaper selected our 2007 Estate Pinot Noir as one of their 2007 Pinot Noir Value Picks in their November issue.
Here’s what they have to say about it:
Good from the get go was one taster’s take. Tantalizing aromas of caramel, cardamom, cedar, oak vanillin and tobacco lead to a round, smooth, slightly sweet, black cherry taste impression. Still young, but already yummy.
Thanks to all the Amigo wine club members, family and friends who made it to the party in their fabulous costumes, and thank you for participating in our raffle. We had some really great costumes this year.

Here’s the democratically elected winner our our “scariest costume” prize, one of our wine club members, dressed as a classy, but quite dangerous looking vampire.
And the winner of our “Sexiest Costume”
prize was the lovely silver lady. While it was clear that her costume was the most attractive, there was some unrest in deciding what she was actually dressed as. It was narrowed down to either a Fem-Bot from Austin Powers, or the Lady Martian from Mars Attacks.

The winner of the funniest costume came as the Cuban mechanic Mauricio, sporting the traditional jumpsuit and cigar. The finishing touch: Mauricio was on the name tag of the jumpsuit.
The last, but definitely not least costume award went out the most original costume of the night, the latest and craziest tabloid icon “Octomom,” complete with her 8 little babies and terrible red lipstick.
There were several honorable mentions that entered the race late, and while they had a good showing, they didn’t have a chance to pull ahead. If you’re not already a club member, be sure sign up to become an Amigo and come to the party next year, but for now, enjoy the rest of the photos below!
Some of our firsts guests on Monday were these wonderful people who decided to do a little wine tour by bike. We welcomed them and appreciated their adventurous riding through the wine region! Bikes are always welcome at Cubanisimo Vineyards (so long as you watch your wheels through the gravel parking area).
The final day of our Labor day weekend celebration went wonderfully. It was a beautiful day with some close friends and fans. Phamous Phaces got everybody moving on the dance floor, and many people stayed well past closing. We were glad to stick around and let people soak in an outstanding ending to a fun weekend.
All of us at Cubanisimo wanted to say thanks to everyone who shared their Labor day weekend with us. It was truly an incredible weekend!
